Zathune™ is a truly unique extra virgin olive oil that guarantees a minimum quantity of natural olive oil anti-oxidants; namely polyphenol Hydroxytyrosol. As it takes special expertise in growing, harvesting and processing of the olives to obtain a superior quality extra virgin olive oil full of natural goodness, not many olive oils can make the same claim as Zathune™.
The polyphenol anti-oxidants present in extra virgin olive oil have been extensively investigated by researchers and it is suggested that some of the health benefits of a Mediterranean diet rich in extra virgin olive oil, may be attributable to the polyphenol anti-oxidants present in olives and olive oil.
While the level of anti-oxidants in ordinary olive oils can vary greatly, Zathune™ has the distinction of guaranteeing at least 5mg of polyphenols in 1.5 servings (1.5 tablespoons) of its oil.
